The stainless steel wire is the iron alignment with a minimum of 10.5% chromium. Its characteristics are due to the formation of an adherent and invisible film of chromium oxide. Alloy 304 is an austenitic stainless steel for general use with a physical structure of central faces.
It is essentially non-magnetic in an annealed state and can only be cold hardened. Its low carbon content with respect to alloy 302 gives better resistance to corrosion in welded structures.
Stainless steel wire can be used in mesh machines, filters, steel ropes, equipment, springs, cables, hooks, kitchen cabinets and food baskets.
